Judges

Applications submitted to the Online Innovation Challenge by 11 May 2014 will be evaluated by a global panel of judges. Their scores will determine the Finalists of the OIC, from which the Winners of the Grand Prize trip to London will be selected. Read the OIC Rules for more information about Finalists and Winners.

Daniel Annerose: Daniel Annerose is founder and CEO of Manobi Corporation, an African mobile data services operator that provides innovative value-added services to small-scale and large companies to uplift their respective economic and social development. He is involved in rural and local development of vulnerable populations in Africa, through the use of mobile technologies, situation-specific content, and community-led service provision.

Aaron Everhart: Aaron is an active volunteer with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, the British Business Group Vietnam, and UNICEF Vietnam. He's also a mentor in the HATCH! PROGRAM, Vietnam's leading entrepreneurship community, supporting start-ups. He has 20 years' experience in behavior change communications consulting, including crisis response communications planning. He is also an Information Technology Infrastructure Library certified ITIL practitioner and executive manager. After hours, he works as a writer on a team preparing to produce the first start-up reality TV program in Vietnam. Aaron is an experienced branding consultant, and the chief representative of Landor Associates in Vietnam.

Wilson Fievre: Mr. Fievre is Senior Executive Information Technology Solution Architect with IBM Software Group for over 18 years. Known as a multi-skilled solutions architect, recognized for his leadership, his mentoring abilities and his intuitive knowledge of how to best use technology to solve complex business problems for top companies, governments and organizations.

Pieter Franken: Pieter Franken’s career spans over 25 years specializing in IT management and software engineering. Currently Pieter is the CTO at Monex Securities in Tokyo, Japan. Not happy with the data available after the Fukushima Nuclear crisis in 2011, Pieter together with Joiichi Ito and Sean Bonner, founded Safecast (), an independent volunteer group focused on transparent measurement of radiation levels, and open access to the results.

Harini Ganesh: Harini has been working at Google for the past seven years across the India and Mountain View offices. She is on the core team of Code for India, a tech nonprofit based in Silicon Valley that's aimed at building tech solutions for nonprofits in India.

Dr. Ananya Raihan: Dr. Ananya Raihan is an Ashoka Fellow. He holds both a Masters and Ph.D. in Economics, with a specialization in Economic Cybernetics. Dr. Raihan, as a co-founder of Dnet, a social enterprise, led inception and growth of the institution since 2001.

Hasan Siddique: Originally from Karachi, Hasan has over six years of experience in the international development sector and is currently serving as the Social Cohesion and Resilience Specialist (Education) with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Luqman Sungkar: Winner of Sanitation App Challenge 2013. Proud member of sunsquare. Currently pursuing IS bachelor degree in Universitas Indonesia. Passionate in information technology. Believe that technology can help people and make a big impact for society.

Fayaz Valli:A determined and passionate developer. Currently pursuing Postgraduate Diploma in Scientific Computing at University of Dar es Salaam. Besides studying, I run a software company called "GetCore Group", that was founded in mid 2012 and became operational in 2013. Recently working on an Online Education Platform for Tanzania “Shule Direct”, that delivers locally relevant content to students. In my free time, I do enjoy playing Volleyball and Pool.
